Mechanic Video - Motocross Clutch Lever Tip

A lot of customers like when we show them some cheaper ways to do good mods to their bikes and to get things started this has to be the easiest one I know - the motocross clutch lever mod.

This video shows how to get some of the nice features of our premium levers from a cheaper option using just insulating tape.

What's so much better about the fancy motocross clutch levers?

motocross clutch lever This the the bling - the Zeta Clutch Lever.

The differences between the really cool clutch levers and the basic motocross clutch lever include:

  • forged metal instead of cast metal. This means the part is cut out rather than made in a mould - way stronger.
  • plastic handlebar bushing - the video shows a cheaper alternative to this.
  • quick cable adjustment - the huge cable adjuster means you can quickly 'click' a new setting while riding the bike.
  • rubber mud covers - the better levers have rubber covers to prevent dirt making the cable operation sticky.
  • reach adjustable. This means you can adjust the distance to the lever. Some standard clutch levers can also do this but not all can.
